Upon entering, there was no one at service department, after finding them they were nice but not knowledgeable. There are stained , mismatched ceiling tiles and dirty floors. No one answered the phone call to service department and no returned calls. This is nothing new to Rick Hill service department. Unfortunately it is the norm and has been for a long time. Hopefully one of these days it will all change.!

Service department overcharges double the value of a typical service. Oil change was $250 and other BMW dealers quoted $125. Called to complain and they stated they used "BMW Standard pricing." Not standard from my experience.

I would have left 5 stars but here is what happened.

Contacted the dealership online and filled out financial information for loan approval. Never got any information back in regard to the financing. I was also looking to trade a vehicle and the used car manager was "scared to death" to take my trade in. Its funny that Porsche is going into the EV market but they are afraid to even look at a Tesla Model S for a trade. Never even looked at my car. They also would not negotiate on the price of the boxster.

Sent a email about buying a car and drove 2 hours to get told they sold the car when I got there 30 minutes ago . A waist of my time and money . When offered to show the email the salesman was rude and said have a nice day . I'm sure this is a small dealership that they can say whatever so if your out of town don't waist your time

Friday June 18th.. I was picked up by Jerry Godsey. Very respectful and I felt like I was being treated with the respect any customer should. Once I arrived at the dealership I was shown the vehicle. This is where things started to take a slight turn. Exterior was clean and appeared as the videos sent. I was the. Told the AC was suddenly not working. The interior of the car was not fully detailed. During the test drive we could tell the tires were not well balanced and there was an issue with the front brakes.
The resolution proposed, Mike would have the tires balances. He would also take $1200 off for me to cover the cost of AC repair and front brake replacement. For a local buyer, this seems fair. For someone about to lake a 5 hour drive back to NC, terrible news. It was about 95 degrees that day.
Silly me, I thought this would be ok and that no other issues were present.
Monday June 21st, within 500 miles the check engine comes on, car is now in limp mode and there is oil splattered all around in the engine bay. Vehicle wears taken to a local mechanic.
Saturday June 26th I contacted Mike via text and email with several issues. Including a major oil leak, EGR faults, torn air filter etc. no reply.
Tuesday June 29th.. text and called Mike as well as Jerry. No reply to voicemail or text.
Wednesday July 7th.. called to speak with Rick Hill. Left a message with the front deck. She was very kind.
Thursday July 8th… called back and no reply.
Today marks 3 weeks of ownership of this vehicle and I have not been able to drive it safely. Yes, this was a used vehicle. But if a used vehicle is serviced and inspected as it should be, a buyer should have peace of mind within the first few months of ownership, or at least the first few weeks.
What a terrible sales experience, terrible follow up and customer service. No decency to even call someone back.

My son’s Porsche Cayenne broke down in Greeneville and had to be towed to the dealership. The service department had a very long wait and I called the GM, Mike Fraiser to see if anything could be done. He had a cancellation and got me in the very next day for a proper diagnosis and estimate. Jeff in Service called me and got things moving right away, I was extremely pleased. I brought my BMW in for an airbag recall. When I made my appointment, I asked the Service advisor what was the best time to come because I was going to wait on the car. She told me 1:30 and I made the appointment. I arrived a few minutes early, checked in and went to the waiting area. Within 10 minutes they had taken my car into the shop. Imagine my surprise when at about 2:45 my car pulls up outside!! I was very pleased and told the service advisors how much I appreciated the excellent service!

Always has been happy with the buying and service experience from this dealership. The only recent experience is that it is getting really hard to talk to somebody over the phone. This difficulty is more on the BMW side. I have both BMW and MBENZ cars.
